Professional Education

If you would like to actively support our students on their journey and get in touch with them, there are a number of ways to do so.

  • Project studies are a research or practical project carried out by a student team in collaboration with your company and an academic chair of TUM School of Management. Companies benefit from the practical results of the project and from the academic excellence of one of Europe’s best business schools.

For more information on your company benefits see our flyer.

  • We support young talents in realizing their full potential and want to help them focus on their studies. At the same time, we want to create more equal opportunities for highly talented students and specifically promote the development of talents who are willing to perform and who would otherwise not be able to afford to study.

If you would like to support us in this endeavour, please contact us for more information.

  • The involvement of corporate partners in our lectures is a matter of concern to us in order to link theory and practice more closely. Both sides benefit from the exchange: while students appreciate the insights of top-level business leaders in practice, practitioners meet their employees of tomorrow. Our honorary professors and doctorates are an important part of our network with industry experts.

Please contact us if you would like to support us in bringing together theory and practice.

Industry collaborations in teaching

Our students benefit from our collaboration with C-level practitioners with whom we have regular exchanges. We believe in the close link between academia and industry to prepare students for their future role in the economy.

Chairman of the Management Board of BMW AG, Honorary Professor

Prof. Oliver Zipse

„The purpose of a broad-based education is to foster the potential, creativity, and pioneering spirit of young people. These qualities are relevant for all areas – in particular for the business world: they are the foundation for innovative, sustainable business models which benefit both our economy and our society. That’s why it is so important to me personally, but also to BMW, to support and enrich the education of the younger generation.”

Through lectures from practice, our students not only gain deep insights into the challenges of an industry first-hand, but also have the opportunity to work on real-world problems and develop solution strategies. They pitch their results to Carsten Spohr, the CEO of Lufthansa AG, and thus receive immediate C-level feedback.

“With research projects at universities, we aim to further improve aviation, making it even safer, more efficient, and more sustainable. Lectures allow me to both share insights about the aviation industry and get young people excited about it. In the CEO pitches, I am particularly impressed by the presentation and communications skills of the students of the TUM School of Management.”
